Saddest Dog In The CFL

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

The snow is piling up in Regina at this hour and is expected to
continue into Wednesday evening. Environment Canada has issued warnings
for southern Saskatchewan, not including Regina as yet however their
website is only showing text warnings for now. Apparently the graphics
guy has the night off. The descriptive department seems to be working
fine as they state: "A total of 10 to 20 cm of fluffy snow is forecast
with this storm with areas of higher terrain getting the larger
amounts." And in case they are guessing too high, they state: "Areas of
Saskatchewan closer to the transcanada highway will see a total of 5 to
10 cm of snow with this system."

So, lets just say it going to be a lot of snow.

Travel is never recommended but people in Saskatchewan never listen to
that so I am gonna say, go slow, bring your shovel and be prepared for
super freeze temperatures if you get stuck.

I'll be going out around noon tomorrow to shoot some video as this
snowstorm should be at its peak by then. Depending on how things go,
expect to see some spectacular footage by late afternoon.

Snow Storm #4 Coming From Utah

Estimate numbers continue to increase as this next storm gets closer. It looks like it could catch Environment Canada by surprise as it comes from the south. Winter storm warnings stretch from Utah to Montana as this major system will hit southern Saskatchewan tonight and into Wednesday.

Third Regina Snowstorm This Season

According to the 3 day forecast, Environment Canada is saying Regina is about to get 7 to 15 cm of snow by Thursday. This could turn into blizzard type conditions and numbers may increase to over 30 cm (1 foot) in some areas. This will be the third snowstorm already this season. The previous two were vastly under estimated due to extremely moist conditions already present.
